The Mist Distribution

The mist was heavily promoted by director Frank Darabount who gained a huge fan base from previous films such as works The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, which gross wise were very succcessful films. There were also appearences at events such as comic con, san diego.

The film was adapted from the cult writer Stephen King novel, which intrested a variety of fans. Posters and teaser trailers were also released to gain the publics intrest.
